Canal 9 / Kanal 9 est une chaîne de télévision suisse régionale basée à Sierre en Valais.
Samedi 29 septembre 1984: pour la première fois, Canal9 diffuse une émission depuis les studios aménagés dans une cave de la rue du Marché à Sierre. Un an plut tôt, la Jeune Chambre Economique de Sierre et l'Association de Loisirs et Culture (ASLEC) avaient porté cette télévision de proximité sur les fonts baptismaux. Leur but: animer la vie régionale, proposer un espace de formation, informer au niveau local. Dans les grandes lignes, la mission de Canal9 / Kanal9 reste la même presque 30 ans plus tard.
